This opulently decorated restaurant features carved wooden chairs, floral design booths, fine linens and cutlery, crystal glassware and rich red drapery. The alternate dining car, the Mayur Mahal, or 'Peacock Palace,' exudes an oriental ambience with its blue, green and gold color palette accompanied by dark wooden floors, ornate chairs, gold plating, luxurious drapery and linens, fine cutlery and crystal glassware. Deluxe cabins begin at 110 square feet and include a panoramic window. Both the deluxe cabins and the junior suites offer a choice of a double bed or two twin beds.
The junior suites are more spacious than the deluxe cabins, with two windows, wooden floors and a table with chairs.

The Presidential suite of the Maharajas’ Express is the first of its kind among all the luxury trains in India, encompassing an entire train carriage.
