Rajasthani culture is a vibrant deviation from (yet an integral part of) the Indian mainstream. Rajasthan offers a diverse geography, and a history full of tales of glorious battles, chivalry, and romance. Traveling  in Rajasthan can seem almost magical; there are swords, horses, camels, and magnificent palaces. Add to that battle scarred hill forts, lakes, mountains, and a vast desert.

Everywhere you look there are vivid colors and amazing sights. The local culture and architecture has been well documented in print and film; as have the apparel and handicrafts you will find here.
