Easy Tours Of India plans and coordinates your visit so you'll get the most out of your travels in India. If you're not going with us, you're wasting time (painfully slow travel and endless delays) that would be better spent at any of India's memorable destinations. We prefer to fly you almost everywhere your plans will take you.

Travel journals on India often romanticize train, bus, and other road travel. Travel and Tour services providers usually forget to emphasize the drawbacks of these forms of travel. You can easily spend more than half the time (that you're awake) in tedious and unpleasant travel between destinations

Rail and road travel is significantly slower than most people expect. It usually includes exposure to unsanitary (as well as other potentially distasteful) conditions. With the ongoing improvements and expansion in India's civil aviation infrastructure, local airlines now offer the quickest (and safest) ways to travel. 

For these reasons, there is no bus travel scheduled in any of our tours, and almost no train travel except in a couple of cases where it offers an advantage in travel time over flying and can be done in luxury. Road travel is included (almost always in our comfortable sport utility vehicles) only where there is no existence of air travel, such as the last part of the journey to any of the Wildlife Parks. However, weather conditions, flight delays, & other unforeseeable factors can sometimes force us to resort to these alternate modes of transportation.

Guests can request travel on trains or roads. As an example, what you ask for in Build our Own Tours may require train and/or road travel. There are also excursions such as the 'Palace on Wheels' and the "Deccan Odyssey' train journeys that some guests may want to experience.
