All the itineraries in our First Visit Collection offer departure dates where you can be part of a small group (maximum of 12 guests). They can also all be enjoyed on your choice of dates as independent visits. The itineraries include visits to India's main tourist attractions, as well as many opportunities to observe local color and customs.
Quality & exclusivity: We only use five star boutique and luxury hotels and palaces (or other heritage establishments) in our tours. The only exceptions to this are smaller cities and wildlife parks where no such establishments exist.
World Class Service: From the moment you are greeted by an ETI Visit Facilitator, you enter a world of impeccable service and hospitality. Your biggest decisions are what sights or events you'd like to spend your time exploring and what cuisine you will want to try that evening.
We have the finest service staff in India – from our Chauffeurs to the Guides and Tour Directors that will assist you, all our support staff is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about making your discovery of India your most cherished journey ever. We reward our staff with above average wages and a culture of recognition and bonuses. This results in almost no turnover and gives ETI the ability to hire the very best Tour Directors, Guides and Chauffeurs.
Best Selection - there are 27 itineraries that range from 8 days to 27 days - some of these itineraries are also available in our exclusive Culinary Collection and Pushkar Fair Collection. You can choose to visit just North India, just South India, or the best that all of India has to offer. There are 283 Small Group departures available every year, and most of them are available at all the levels of travel we offer – ranging from luxurious to almost decadent.
The First Visit Collection is ideal for your first exploration of India, and it is also great if you haven't been there for a while. Rapid progress, and the resulting changes and improvements in infrastructure, have altered India significantly from what you may have experienced a decade or two ago.
